We’ve recently had the pleasure of hosting several community tours to educate students and give a behind-the-scenes look at our facilities. We opened our doors to Stroud High School and East Central University students who were eager to learn about the inner workings of aircraft engine maintenance and repair.

During our tours, we walked students through our day-to-day operations, from the precision of engine inspections to the collaborative problem-solving behind every maintenance task. We aimed to create an environment where curiosity is welcomed, and every question is an opportunity to learn. It was amazing to see students light up as they discovered how theory meets practice in real-world applications.

The Stroud High School Aviation “You Can Fly” program is an initiative designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of aviation and inspire future careers in the industry. Through hands-on learning and mentorship opportunities, the program helps students build technical knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of aerospace engineering and flight operations.

Likewise, the East Central University Stonecipher School of Business students got an inside look at various industries, including aerospace, to help them discover potential career paths. During their visit, students engaged with professionals, explored real-world applications of their studies and gained valuable insights into the skills needed for success in the field.

These tours are a reminder of why the Mint team cares so deeply about our community. We’re not just in the business of engine maintenance; we’re committed to fostering a passion for learning and igniting interest in the aerospace industry. Seeing students engage with our team, ask thoughtful questions and imagine their own future in this field is incredibly rewarding.

We’re excited to continue these initiatives and look forward to welcoming more students into the world of aerospace. If you’re curious about our educational outreach or want to learn more about our upcoming tours, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
